This is a multi day event. We are gathering up a group to head to MINI On The Mack. It’s about a 950 mile drive each way from the the Atlanta area to Makinaw, MI. Plan on two days up – two days there – two days back.
We will stop and gather up MINIs from other clubs on the journey northward.
- Meet at 7:30AM at the McDonald’s on Georgia 20 @ I-75. We head out at 8 AM
- First stop at the Tennessee Welcome Center in Chattanooga.
- From there we head towards Nashville, Lexington and Dayton with the final stop being Auburn Indiana.
- If anyone wants to join us along the way, let Joe Slay know and we’ll work out a meeting place.
- We overnight at the Tru by Hilton 303 Peckhart Ct, Auburn, Indiana, 46706
- (there are several other hotels real close if you have points and want to stay at another location).
- On August 1st we head out from the Tru at 9AM.
- There are 2 local auto museums we will decide at breakfast which one we stop at for our first hour.
- Then it’s off to Mackinaw, we might go through Pot Hole Hell (Michigan) on the way
