TIME TO MOTOR ON…SAYING GOODBYE TO THE MINIS

BMWCCA Foundation is excited to invite you to a spectacular closing event for our exhibit. Join us for an unforgettable evening where the spotlight will be on the incredible talents of a renowned stunt driver Phil Wicks, whose driving was notably featured in the 1969 version of The Italian Job. Accompanying Phil Wicks will be Brad Davis, owner of the December MINI Of The Month.

We will be leaving as a group from two locations starting on the West side of town. We join up with the folk on the East side of town to head up I-85 to the celebration. It’s an overnight stay at your hotel of choice, then a caravan back to Georgia through some lovely towns on the best twisty country roads.

Here’s the Plan:

  • 12:00 Noon meet at the Racetrac Church Street in Marietta
  • 12:30pm departure time heading East.
  • The first stop will be at the QT in Braselton at 5502 Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517 (Hwy 53 and I-85). ETA is 1:30pm (if you would like to meet us at this location arrive before 1:00pm and have your radios on 15-15).
  • 2:00pm departure time heading up I-85 to South Carolina
  • Potty break at the SC welcome center.
  • 4:30pm MINI to the Max closing ceremonies.
  • Overnight stay at the Hotel of your choice.
  • 9:00am Sunday meet for coffee and a biscuit
  • 9:30am Scenic drive back to Atlanta through Highlands, NC.

What you need to do to participate:

  1. Register here for the drive so we know who is coming and we won’t leave you behind
  2. Register and pay for the event at the BMWCCA Foundation
  3. Get a hotel room for the night of January 18, 2025.
